Fwd: Traductor de quechua cuzqueño con licencia GPL

Un amigo que ha hecho una corrector de ortografía en
irlandés (Gaelic) y la traducción de OpenOffice en
irlandés me mandó noticias interesantes. Hay un grupo
en la Universidad de Carnegie Mellon en EEUU que están
creando un traductor de quechua cuzqueño-castellano.
Todavía el código es muy preliminar, pero ellos han
prometido de lanzarlo con una licencia GPL. No he
tenido tiempo para leer toda la propuesta, pero tiene
un reporte detallado acerca el proyecto:

Me aparece que este es un traductor bien planificado y
espero que salga bien.

En otras noticias, tuvimos una reunión en la
vicepresidencia de Bolivia. Gente en el Plan Nacional
de Inclusión Digital tiene interés en nuestra
propuesta para traducir AbiWord, Firefox y OpenOffice
en quechua boliviano sureño, aymara norteño, aymara
sureño y guaraní chiriguano. No sé si ellos pueden
encontrar financiamiento pero vamos a ver.
