El escritorio de GNU/Linux KDE continua su crecimiento plurilingüe.
La última versión de mantenimiento de KDE, a saber la versión 3.2.3, llegó a los servidores de descargas del mundo esta semana. KDE 3.2.3 contiene un escritorio básico y otros dieciocho paquetes, y - con la reciente adición de Árabe, Croata y Upper Sorbian (una lengua hablada en una ciudad alemana llamada Bautzen) - esta ahora disponible en 51 idiomas.
KDE, including all its libraries and its applications, is available for free under Open Source licenses and can be obtained in source and numerous binary formats from http://download.kde.org as well as on CD-ROM or with any of the major GNU/Linux - UNIX systems shipping today.
According to the KDE Project - an independent project of hundreds of developers, translators, artists and other professionals worldwide - KDE 3.2.3 is a maintenance release for the latest generation of what those behind the project proudly calls "the most advanced and powerful free desktop for GNU/Linux and other UNIXes."
KDE 3.2.3 ships with a basic desktop and eighteen other packages (PIM, administration, network, edutainment, utilities, multimedia, games, artwork, web development etc.).
